Fall in Spokane is my absolute favorite season.
THE WEATHER IN SPOKANE DURING FALL
The temperatures come down, the colors are spectacular and there is just so much to do. While other areas of Washington are getting heavy rains, winds, and even storms, fall can be very mild in the Inland Northwest. We do get rain, but it will show up maybe once a week, here (just enough to water the garden).
You can expect temperatures to range from 50-70 degrees Sept.-October and 40-60 degrees Oct.-December.
THINGS TO DO IN THE FALL IN SPOKANE, WA
Unlike some cities, Spokane offers the full fall experience with bright changing leaves and harvest festivals galore.
Some of our favorite activities include golfing, hiking/biking, attending local festivals, and enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds us.
OKTOBERFESTS IN SPOKANE
'Oktober Fest' commences seemingly on every block during fall in Spokane. Some of our favorites include:
Arbor Crest Oktoberfest
Brick West Brewing Oktoberfest
Downtown Coeur d'Alene Oktoberfest
PLACES TO EAT IN THE FALL IN SPOKANE
Spokane is replete with coffee shops and bakeries like Rockwood Bakery rolling out pastries and serving your favorite fall drinks during this season. You can, however, enjoy a fall-flavored ice cream cone at The Scoop in Kendall Yards or Manito on a 70-degree day until early October!
Of course, you can't go without a pumpkin doughnut from Beck Harvest House.

The Farmhouse on Green Bluff (dog park, u-pick and u-plant, food, fair, family fun)

And so much more!
The video below is a montage of everything I got up to in fall 2022. All of these activities are annual events that can enjoyed year after year here in Spokane.
Of course, there are a ton of events and spaces not on this blog that are just as enjoyable but I hope you enjoyed the video and have a better understanding of what fall is like here in Spokane, Washington.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!
